Guiding Principles that Define Our Company Culture and Guide Our Actions.
Focus on the user and all else will follow.

Without users, there would be no company, team, salaries and growth. In fact, there would be nothing.

Our success and the success of our company is directly proportional to the quantity and the quality of active users within our products.

In order to maintain and improve these parameters, it is necessary to create high-value content and functionality that will give the best experience to our users. Only focusing on the interests of the users allows us to attract new users, as well as retain the old ones. Moreover, by creating a positive experience for users, we can differentiate ourselves from our competitors and build a strong reputation.

If we look at things more often through the eyes of the user, this will lead to better decisions, as well as a positive dynamic in development.

Be eager to learn and grow.

Today's realities are such that nothing stands still, and the IT field has the fastest growth. New competitors appear daily on the market, new technologies, new opportunities, and studying can allow each member to maintain the tempo necessary to remain on the market and grow.

That means being open to new ideas and experiences and actively seeking opportunities for personal and professional growth.

If you don't progress in what you are doing, don't learn and don't try something new, you are destined to be left behind.

The professional success of any specialist depends on his ability to constantly learn something new, follow trends, be flexible and adapt to all kinds of changes.

The learning process does not have to stop at the knowledge you have mastered so far. It's a lifelong process, whether you're studying something professionally or personally.

Learn faster through feedback.

Be open to receiving feedback, both from colleagues and users. Through feedback, look for strengths and weaknesses. Use feedback to fix weak points.

By actively seeking feedback, you can accelerate your learning and continuously improve your performance.

Appreciate feedback, even if it is harder to receive, especially when it is negative.

The natural human tendency is to adopt a defensive attitude or formulate an excuse when receiving criticism; we all automatically seek to protect our ego and reputation. When you receive feedback, you have to fight against this natural reaction and instead ask yourself: "How can I appreciate this feedback by listening carefully and considering the message with an open mind and becoming neither defensive nor angry?".

It's natural to be a little defensive when you receive negative feedback, but try to remain open and receptive. Remember that the goal is to learn and improve.

Consider all the feedbacks received. You are not required to apply the recommendations. Say "thank you" sincerely. But both you and the feedback provider must understand that the decision to react to the feedback remains entirely with the recipient.

Don't forget to give feedback, because others learn through feedback, just like you.

Help and share.

It is impossible to be good at everything or know all the necessary information. Only by helping each other we can develop both as a team and individually. Individual results depend on collective success.

When we focus only on our own progress, fearing the competition, we only create obstacles in our professional outlook.

Don't be afraid to help and share your knowledge and experiences with your colleagues.

Helping and sharing with others can have a positive impact on mental and emotional well-being. It can give a sense of purpose and meaning, as well as a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction.

The idea of helping and sharing is a fundamental factor in achieving common goals. It's an important aspect of building strong, supportive relationships. Investing in your colleagues is an indirect investment in your perspectives.

Don’t assume, check.

Relying on assumptions causes wrong decisions.

In almost every workplace, we can apply the principle of the human factor. People tend to make mistakes.

It is always important to verify information and not assume something is true without checking.

The right decision can only be made with as much information as possible. Even the best ideas at first glance can fail. And only checking these ideas allows us to be sure that we have made the right choice. It's okay to make decisions on our own, but at the same time, we must be willing to argue and defend our idea in front of the team using information obtained from research or testing. Only idea that has proven its viability can be considered successful.

It’s ook to make mistakes as long as you learn from them.

Mistakes are a natural part of the learning process and a valuable opportunity for growth and development.

We are constantly growing, learning and improving.

You don't have to blame yourself or someone else, you just have to draw the right conclusions, keep learning from the mistakes you made, so you try not to repeat them.

Of course, we should always strive to do our best and avoid mistakes. But when we make a mistake, it is important to recognize it, to reflect on what went wrong and what we could do in the future to avoid such mistakes.

In general, mistakes are normal and inevitable part of life. The key is to learn from your mistakes and use them as an opportunity to grow and improve.

Celebrates small and big wins.

It's easy to get lost in the daily routine, but it's important to find time to celebrate small and big wins, as it's a great way to feel proud of our progress and achievements and stay motivated. Every achievement, no matter the size, deserves to be celebrated and recognized. Big victories consist of and add up to many small ones, so it is important not to overlook their significance. Of course, big victories are more desirable, making us more confident in ourselves, but also small successes make us smile and can give us strength to move on to new achievements.

Creating a habit of celebration will improve our morale and that of the collective, to build a positive culture and a spirit of support within the team. This, in turn, can contribute to motivation and concentration in achieving even greater results in the future.

Impossible is nothing.

The impossible is the opportunity and the chance to prove yourself, it's a challenge! The impossible is an opportunity to be better than others, an opportunity to be a winner in life. Every challenge can be faced if we put in the effort, come up with creative solutions, think "outside the box" and don't give up on the goals set. We are capable of much more than we can imagine if we trust ourselves and our colleagues. We have already achieved many things considered impossible, such as the same 20 million installations at WishOK.

Together, we can achieve anything! We just have to clearly identify the goal and ask ourselves how to achieve it.

Embrace and contribute to changes.

It is wrong not to see and not accept that everything around you is constantly changing, constantly moving, whether you want it or not. Change is an inevitable part of life, and being able to adapt and embrace new situations is an important skill to have.

As members of the OOK team, we have the responsibility to accept and contribute to changes. Ignoring or resisting the proposed changes can lead to the stagnation of the collective, the products and the dissolution of the company. Only by being flexible, responsive, promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, we can ensure that our company remains competitive.

Embracing and contributing to changes requires a willingness to adapt and be flexible. By staying open-minded and proactive, you can make the most of new situations and opportunities.

People over processes.

When it comes to managing a team, creating and using certain processes is inevitable.

This is necessary to coordinate and optimize work, to avoid repetitive mistakes, to improve communication, to ensure the efficiency and quality of our work.

Over time, the multitude of processes can create obstacles, regardless of the initial goals.

For this reason, we must put people above the system, as they are the ones who put their skills, creativity and knowledge for the development of the company. This will allow us to regularly review and update the processes, so that the processes work in favor of the people, but not the people work for the processes, because people who are well motivated and passionate about their work achieve remarkable results in a shorter time.

Every opinion matters.

Any opinion has the right to exist, even if it can be wrong.

Any opinion is welcome, so don't be afraid to express your idea, thought or opinion.

Each member has his own knowledge and experience that can be useful for the development of the company and the team. For this reason, it is very important to listen to everyone's opinions. This is the only way we can make the most of the expertise of our colleagues, which would allow us to create a more complex and clear vision. And even in cases where the opinions offered are poorly argued, this would allow us to approach the problems from different angles and reach creative solutions.

At the same time, every opinion is important to be heard, but not all of them deserve to be realized. You must be open to criticism and to better solutions, thus, even with an opinion that is not worth realizing, you open the door to another better solution, and thereby contribute to development.

It is important to create an environment where all members feel comfortable expressing their thoughts and ideas and where everyone's opinions are taken into consideration, thus encouraging open and honest communication.

Don’t act like you’re superior to others.

It is important to recognize that no person or group is superior to others and we must treat others with respect and dignity. Acting in a way that suggests you are superior to others can be harmful to relationships and create a negative environment.

It is important to be humble and recognize that we all have strengths and weaknesses. It is also important to be open to the perspectives and experiences of others and recognize that everyone has something valuable.

Treating others with respect and kindness is an important aspect of building positive and productive relationship, both personally and professionally.

While it can be tempting to think that we are better or more important than our colleagues, it is important to remember that we are all part of a team and that each member of that team plays an important role in the company's success. Acting superior to others can create a toxic environment, which in turn can lead to ecreased motivation, productivity and even employee turnover. It can also create a culture of fear, intimidation and create obstacles to the free expression of colleagues. It is necessary to pay attention to the form of expression and our actions. Let's treat colleagues with respect and professionalism, regardless of position or status, because only together we can achieve the company's goals.

Be flexible.

In the modern world, it is not the strongest who survive, but those who know how to adapt. The quick adaptation to any change represents human flexibility. This is what helps us maintain stability and face possible obstacles, because the old approach can at some point slow down the workflow or even stop working. We don't have to focus on one thing. To be successful, we need to keep an open mind, learn, grow, accept and try new things. The world is changing and we must change with it.

Freedom breeds responsibility.

Freedom in work and decisions comes with trust from the team and the company. But trust can't be earned without demonstrating serious commitment. Being free to act, we must be ready to take possible risks, to be responsible for what we do and for the progress we have or lack of it.

With great freedom comes great responsibility. Freedom without responsibility leads to chaos. Responsibility without freedom leads to certain limits in the development of creativity and non-standard approaches, often productive ones.

You cannot separate these 2 concepts, but you have to feel the fine line between them.

Only a free and responsible person can fully open up and realize their full potential.

In general, it is important to consider the responsibilities that come with freedom and to act with integrity and care to make the most of the opportunities that freedom provides.
